The success of Designit’s service design for Rebild and Vejen councils was featured in the press yesterday.
Erhvervsbladet newspaper shows the tangible results from the pilot project, initiated last year by the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority to determine how service design can improve public services.
Designit was asked to improve the service delivered at job centres in the two Danish local authorities.
The article concludes that Designit’s solution resulted in better communication between employers, job centre staff and job seekers – better service for all concerned.
“It’s been an exciting process, where there has been a good and open dialogue about how we could improve the service for users, companies and job centre staff.
"This led to better communication between all parties,” says Anneth Jensen, job centre manager at Vejen Council.
The article was part of a series investigating the success of public-funded innovation projects.
