It's that time of the year again: the twelfth annual Service Design Global Conference (SDGC) will be from October 10-11. This year's theme is 'Building Bridges', an inspiration for service design to build bridges between people, governments, and organizational silos. From Lima and Copenhagen respectively, our designers Renzo Vallejo and Lass Underbjerg will be attending to hold workshops.
All Work and No Play Makes a Service a Dull Job
Could play be as valuable –or even more– in later stages of the design process? Our Senior Service Designer Renzo Vallejo will hold a workshop on embedding play into service design. 'All Work and No Play Makes a Service a Dull Job' will explore the value that exploratory, playful activities can bring to the delivery of a service.
Prototyping Futures: Trusting Invisibility
Our Global Future Lab Director Lasse Underbjerg will lead the 'Prototyping Futures: Trusting Invisibility' workshop. Fascinated by the intersection of design, technology and storytelling, Lasse will teach participants how to identify and utilize societal movements, human drivers and emerging technologies to ideate on possible solutions using quick exercises and lo-fi prototypes.
