At Designit, we’re exploring how we can design trust into the invisible. Our Futures Lab Director Lasse Underbjerg has been researching this topic and experimenting with the Lifeline Prototype, a new route for road safety.

In a future with increasingly autonomous mobility, how will cyclists know when cars will let them pass? Or pedestrians know that the car has noticed their presence at all? The LifeLine Prototype is a call to action and a proposed direction for how pedestrians, cyclists, and autonomous vehicles can all share the same streets. Safely and assuredly.
