Iberdrola was involved in a digitalization process to promote IoT services. As a B2C company, they were moving from a business and tech company to a client-oriented company. They needed help developing an app that would support client interactions around on-demand energy. The design needed to encompass a user interface that would engage and educate customers around their energy needs and habits.
Our team created an app that provides a clear understanding of electric consumption and actionable insights about how to save electricity and money. The app now serves as the main communication channel between Iberdrola and its clients, and continues to promote the adoption of intelligent devices at home, such as thermostats and light systems.
Thanks to our collaboration with Designit during these months, we have not only been able to strengthen the user-centered methodology throughout the company, but also to shape these new needs through a design system that allows us to scale and expand our digital product globally.
