The design thinking process has helped us reach a powerful and valid concept, structured with a proposal of clear value for the market. Alfred Batet, Global Manager of SIMON Digital Strategic Business

Process
To guide Simon through the ocean of information about IoT (Internet of Things) trends, we condensed our research and interviews into future scenarios: what would life look like in 2020? And what part would Simon 100 play in it? Together we defined the collection’s value proposition, and looked towards the service experience. We helped Simon understand its different users’ wants and needs through interviews and co-creation sessions with end-customers and suppliers alike, and mapped a new service journey taking all of Simon’s users into account: from showroom and installation, through to follow-up customer care.
Solution
Simon 100 gives your home a new dimension. Its switches, plugs and other controls are all connected via the app, to anticipate and solve users’ needs in different scenarios. Simon 100 can help you wake up with natural light and coffee, dim the lights and play music when you go to sleep, and even prevent break-ins by making burglars think you’re at home. You can configure these experiences intuitively and seamlessly in the app, making the space your own.

The launch of this new concept to the market has re-positioned us within the map of more innovative companies, and as one of the main players in IoT nationwide. Alfred Batet, Global Manager of Simon Digital Strategic Business
