Copenhagen, Denmark – Mar 30, 2022: Designit, a Wipro company and a global experience innovation company, has received an honourable mention from the International Design Awards for helping JRG Automotive innovate, adapt and launch a globally recognised healthcare brand during the pandemic.
The International Design Awards (IDA) recognises and celebrates smart and sustainable multidisciplinary innovation across architecture, interior, product, graphic, and fashion design worldwide. The Farmani Group founded the IDA as the design sibling of the Annual Lucie Awards for Photography, which has emerged as one of the world's most prestigious photography awards. Awards are chosen from thousands of entries from more than 80 countries around the world. IDA seeks out truly visionary designers who showcase creativity and innovation.
With the onset of Covid-19, JRG Automotive, a leading Indian auto parts manufacturer, responded to the challenging environment and urgent global need by leveraging its cutting-edge engineering roots and ISO-certified manufacturing process to pivot to a new medical consumables business. JRG partnered with Designit to formulate the new brand identity, architecture, positioning, and packaging design for its premium medical products, known as JRG Healthcare. Rooted in JRG's origins, the bold and harmonious visual identity focuses on its values of reliability, expertise, empathy, and relationships. The identity design and visual language helped JRG launch a new brand in the global healthcare market that signals a trustful, credible, and confident premium medical solution and enables life savers globally.
At Designit, we believe that design has the fundamental ability to advance the human experience through humanity-centred design. When JRG asked us to create a new brand identity and architecture for a premium medical solution, we were honoured and couldn't wait to get started.
